THE HERITAGE is a 100-acre country estate located in "Horse Country and Golf Capital of the World." Antique centers, fine shops and elegant restaurants, championship golf courses, Seagrove Pottery Highway, the Carolina Horse Park and the North Carolina Zoo are just minutes away. Large, shady campsites (FH with 30/50 amps) overlook a clear spring-fed lake with sandy beach for swimming and sunning; also fishing (bass, bream, catfish, eels, chain pickeral), horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, and nature trails. Tent Campers are welcome. Quiet and private atmosphere. Certified Wildlife Habitat. Member NCARVC, ARVC & NWF. Owned and operated by The Sadler Family since 1978.

Rates for camping:
Tents: $22./night
Pop-ups or small campers: $25./night
Motorhomes, Large camping trailers or 5th wheels: $30./night
Weekly Camping Rate: $160. includes electric
Monthly Camping Rate: $300. plus electric (metered sites)
Each price includes 2 persons, additional adults are $7. each, additional children 15 and under are $5. each. One family per campsite, please.
We have 56 sites, a bathhouse, a dump station, and all sites have water and electric. We also have 30/50 amp sites with full-hookups and pull-throughs with room for slide-outs.
A camper storage area is available for $30. per month.
Daytime Recreation: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily
The charge for daytime recreation guests is $6. for adults and $4. for children 15 and under. There are picnic areas beside the Lake. Grills are available at no charge.
The Snack Bar is open selling snacks, drinks, water, charcoal, bagged ice, fishing worms, firewood, and floats are available for rent during the summer.
The Heritage-Camping & Recreation policies - please read:
Speed limits are enforced. The speed limit in the Campground is 5 mph. Alcohol is prohibited outside your campsite area. No illegal drug use is permitted! Quiet Time Hours are between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. All noise, loud music, loud talking, etc. is expected to cease at 10:00 p.m. Please note: This is a Family Campground. Plan to have your guests departed and your vehicle parked at your campsite for the night by 10:00 p.m. One vehicle per campsite (there is an overflow parking area). Children should be under adult supervision at all times, in their campsite by 10:00 p.m., and quiet. Pets must be leashed at all times and waste disposed of. Pets are not to be left alone at the campsite, or tied to trees. Please note that Pets are not allowed on the Beach areas anytime. Respect for your neighbors, our trees and wildlife is expected at all times. Do not chop or damage any trees or bushes or harm, harass, or kill any wildlife. Do not bring your own firewood as this may introduce unwanted insects to The Heritage property. Use the roads for walking through or around the campground. Please do not walk or drive through the other campsites or the wooded areas between campsites.

Anyone violating these regulations or conducting themselves in a manner which disturbs the peace and pleasure of other guests will be expelled and evicted from the campground with no refund.
